PERSONALLY, I really like them. I think they're modern and pretty cool. I think it's cool that they get so much variety with their uniforms. Of course all the pants and jerseys and helmets are interchangable...there are 44 possible combinations, so it's possible for a freshman this year to play his entire college career without wearing the same uniform twice. ALOT of people complain how they don't like the colors or the design or whatever...but the uniform did it's job, it has people talking about OREGON. Phil Knight, the owner of Nike is an Oregon alumni and contributes TONS of money back to the school and atheletic program. That why Oregon always seems to get the newest and best stuff. Whenever you see a uniform like this on TV, there'll be NO DOUBT that you're watching Oregon...and at first glace, I don't think there's another team in the nation that could say that.
USC has a contract with Russell for the uniforms, so we're always going to get pretty much the same boring thing...but I'd love for USC to get something a bit flashier. USC isn't a SUPER conservative school like Penn State that NEVER changes from their BORING old uniforms because of tradition. Holding on to tradition and not changing usually only leads to trouble and being behind the times.
I guess I'm just one of those people who like change and seeing how things progress, so keeping the SAME uniform for 50 years just seems...BORING.
Plus if you look REALLY REALLY closely at the yellow helmet, you can see that it was silver GHOST FLAMES(like the kind they put on custom cars)on it...now that's hella cool!!!

HOWEVER... don't you go draggin' my Nittany Lions down. The uniforms are a tradition, rich in heritage. And they look good. And they will continue to look good no matter whatever other "trend" makes it to college football. Clean, crisp... just ready to get a little dirty. :)

love the dux uni's
I love the new uniforms! and you are so right about the exposure it brings to Oregon. It's a little something called "Brand Management" and no one does it better than Nike.and by the way, Phil Knight does not "own" Nike, he owns the largest number of shares which is actually a very small percentage of the total. Nike is a public company.
